Back from a very long, long, looooong hiatus.

So after, near to the day a, what? four, five month hiatus, I am back. So you know what I am going to say right, TIME FOR ANOTHER BOX BLOG! You wanna know why? Because I can. 

I'd like to say a lot has happened but I don't really believe a lot has happened. I would just like to say one thing

HAPPY FIFTEENVERSARY. It has come to my attention that I have had this blog for a year now, a whole long year, plus the added time makes it a grand total of fifteen months, but considering I was wallowing in what can only be considered my own self loathing and hate for most, if not all of the human race, of course, minus a few individuals, but I felt I should at least mark the occasion.

Despite my ridiculous hiatus's and long awaited returns and all that jazz, I am back, for the next three months before I disappear again and write another blog, cause that's how things go around here, so get the hell used to it.

Uhm, well, what can I say, I finished the first year of my two year course, going into the second on starting in September! Woo, right? Wrong, last year, I kind of gave up, with my nan dying and family problems, I lost a part of me that was thrilled for studying and thrilled because I know a lot about animals and I could do the theory easy, but I didn't. I gave up last school year, a lot of this year has been very difficult for me but I have trifled threw and I plan to make this year a brilliant, studious year and gain as much out of it as possible. 

I still love learning, I enjoy it a lot and I am very eager to absorb as much information as my brain can take, of course I am, animals are a particular passion of mine, I enjoy learning, why not add the two together, learn and create something beautiful! Am I right? Probably not, but still.

These past few months have been tedious and yet some of the most fun and exciting months of my entire life, a very special friend of mine, more than that in fact, he has really made it all quite special for me and honestly, trying to keep the perky and cheery face on all the time isn't worth it without somebody by your side making the perky and cheery face real, I think you should check out his blog actually, As well as being a swell guy, he is a swell photographer, so go and check him out, he is fantastic at what he does and I think, he needs a serious ego boost. He has put up with all my mood swings, aggression, bitchiness, self loathing, self consciousness, everything you can think of, I am very glad I have him all to myself and no I am not sharing him... EVER!

For me, just being an newbie when it comes to taking pictures, I don't know how to work a camera properly, let alone shoot on a professional level, but him and his band of digiscoping supergraphers, photograph scenes, animals, even cameras that are pretty  awe inspiring. I personally feel, that he has a very special talent here, a talent I do believe he should hone and work on, so if you do pop over there, give them a quick comment! Now onto some of my own work, I'd like to share with you guys some of my favourite pictures over the past few months that I have been away, all have been taken in the company of Geraint (name dropping), whom's blog is just up there! So let the picture posting COMMENCE!

This was taking as Roath Park, it was the first time I have ever been and this was taking in their 'Tree' green house, It has to be, to date, on of the most professional pictures I have taken and I am very proud of it, I do not know what it is called, but it is stunning.

This is Stevie, all grown up, small but with the appetite of an ocelot! She is a stunning cat, if a little mean, but I love her all the same.

This is Gub Gubs, my three legged monster, hiding in the grass, he is my favourite cat and I love him with undying affection, he is such a lovely cat.

Here is a picture of a lemur, I love, love, LOVE this photo so much, It is such a lovely photo, I only wish I got his whole tail in however, none the less I am very proud of this! 

A mute swan, grooming itself, While at Roath, I took some very interesting photos, some a love, some I adore, this swan, a Canadian goose, plus a barnacle goose all hit my, 'THIS PICTURES ARE AMAZING' spot. I particularly like this picture though, it isn't amazing, but I feel it is more becoming of me and my sense and skills of taking photos.

this was taken back in march I believe, I went to St Fagans with the wonderful Geraint and this was the outcome, I also have turkeys, but I will share them in a future post with you all. The trip to St Fagans was fantastic and it is always a joy to go there, especially with someone you care deeply about.

It isn't the best, the most professional or even the most tidy, but this picture, I love it so much, this was another time spent with Geraint and a wonderful time it was, we went to this beach off St Athens I believe and it was such a lovely place, Geraint and I, with my parents, went fossil hunting, sadly, we found no fossils, but we did find these little shrimps! it was a fun night.

So this is all for this week, it is dreadfully long and boring buuut, it's a good starting point to get back into things, I hope you all in enjoyed it.

Oh gosh...How long has it been?

So hey folks. It has been a raaaaather long time since I have written you guys a box blog, if I do say so myself.

So This is about the time I say...

IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER BIG BOX BLOOOOOOOOOGS.

I apologize for that. The past couple of months have been rather difficult to get through. My nanna died a few days after I wrote the last box blog and to be honest, I found it very difficult to get back into the swing of things, even college has been a struggle.

But! I am now back! Back to write you thoughs amazing, funny, wonderful blogs you all soooo sooo miss and love...*cough*. 

Its just under two months since I wrote the last blog so I do not have anything interesting or funny or even peculiar to show you guys, so next week! Next Thursday to be  exact (or around that day) I will have some more stuff to show you! 

Oooh...I did however learn how to make rock candy! I am gonna try and do that this weekend and if I do it...Next blog I will post a picture and how I did it up for you guys to try out =D.

It's a bit of a short box blog, not that any of you are complaining, to be fair, your eyes are probably relieved this doesn't take up the whole of the internet like my usual box blogs do.

I do have two things to show you however

Tabby cat is obviously a very busy cat. We can never get him off the phone!

Horses. These are two of the local gypsy horses. This is a little old but these two lovely horses always come for a visit (and our carrots).

Surprisingly, they are both very friendly mares. I have never met horses quite as nice and lovely as these two beauts to be honest, tame horses are horrible and mean and bite you!

No, but in all seriousness, all the gypsy horses are really lovely, if a little messy and destroy my back fence

Okay guys, thats all I have to show you. I know, I know. I hear you all scream 'BUT IT'S BEEN TWO MONTHS', but this it guys, this is it til next weeks.

Not the most interesting I know but I'll be back and next weeks box blog will be better =D

When I am bored...I RESEARCH!

So heey folks. This is just a small Box Blog.
Though every time I say that or attempt to do a short one, it usually isn't and ends up about ten pages long! There's been a lot going on recently with my family in which I have been back and forward to the hospital alot so this hasn't left alot of time for Box Blogging.

But yes, being your ever so reliable Box Blogger, I am here to write you a Box Blog! Everybody say yay!

I am not really sure what to write because I have been lacking creativity!

My weeks haven't been too adventurous (they never are) but I have found myself being a bit more inventive with my writing (if that makes sense). The problems that are currently occurring in my life have triggered something in my brain so I am trying to write some perfect for her. I haven't told anyone that...Not even Geraint.

When I get bored, I do alot of researching and I often find the most peculiar things. I can't remember how long ago it was but I was casually youtubing (as you do) and I came along some fascinating things for example 10ft humans and I am not sure if anybody remembers them but some animals that washed up on a beach in America (one looked a bit like a human but had no hair and another like a dog or raccoon). If I haven't grossed you out by the end of this Box Blog I'll show you guys next week...Maybe

Looking up and finding and researching peculiar things, facts and animals really fascinates me and from just spending and hour searching through the internet, while doing my usual rounds on the internet, I started to really get into facts and old myths and deep sea creatures, even though I have always been an open minded person and I imagine that things people don't see as real, could actually be real. I get really passionate about it and even now, just writing this, I am finding some kind of flame to type to you guys about my two favourite deep sea creatures.

I get really fascinated by jellyfish and how things were discovered and how they survive, poor old Geraint, he has put up with some random facts coming from my mouth.

Some of them are just completely bizarre, some about sex, some about jelly fish and some about everything but he puts up with it! Like the true trooper he is, any you guys should look at these!

Meet the Frilled Shark
They're not rare but they are uncommon and even though they are spread out I think across the Atlantic and the Pacific (I am not to sure may have to check that up). There are only small patches in which they appear.

They are quite uncommon because of the depths they live at and because of its appearance and features it is classed as a 'living fossil' as appearance and feature wise, it is pretty primitive to today's sharks

Yeeeah! I remembered all of that off the top of my head...No need for Google or Wiki here folks.

Next up, this is the Barrel-eye fish 
Right, lets just get a couple of things straight, see thoughs green things in it's head. Thoughs are it's eyes, they are barrel shaped (hence the name Barrel eye) the fake eyes you see on the outside of it's head are more or less nostrils. it's eyes can rotate up, to see potential predators and forward. The eyes also collect lots of light, making it suitable (yet unsuitable) for deep depths.

Interesting fact, if the fish swims to close to the surface (I can't remember the depths) then the fishes head will explode from the pressure.

See, I am pretty amazing! If only I put this much care, attention and detail into my coursework! I'd have A* by now!

MERRY NEEEW YEEEAR!!!

Merry New Year folks! This is a well belated BIG BOX BLOG!!!!!

So yeah...Once again, I haven't update this. I have no reason why apart from being considerably lazy.

Soo these past (I think) two weeks have been some what chaotic, fun, chaotic, more fun, upsetting, crazy, contradicting and lazy, yes, these past couple of weeks I have been beyond lazy. It has been rainy and boring and just blegh, 

Christmas was fun and the run up to it was, I was going to say eventful but that would be a lie, it was interesting. I got a Kindle and some socks and some other interesting stuff but lemme tell you about my two damn awesome gifts

One is a Big Bang Theory cat that sings Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty to me and the other was a poster! A POSTER OF AWESOME! It is a Flight Of the Conchords promo poster for (I think) 'I Told You I Was Freaky'. It is pretty damn amazing and I promise I'll post a picture of that in another blog.

Despite the boringness that has been Christmas 2011, I have to say a couple of the days spent with the wonderfully, spectacularly crazy and yet sickly strange Geraint (Check him out!) have been more fun then these past couple of weeks combined but what am I saying. That was so 2011 and we, my strange, lovely, peculiar people are in the realm that is 2012.

So yeah, sometime this year the world is going to end (but that was supposed to happen last year) so that could happen, I mean they made a movie about it so it has to happen and the Mayan calendar only goes up to 2012, though in retrospect, they could have just run out of rock or the person who made the calendar died and the rest of the Mayan people couldn't be bothered with finishing it, I have no doubt that they also had procrastinators.

It makes me laugh, nobody believes in physics or fortune tellers or mind readers or people who see the future and yet, everyone comes to the conclusion the world is going to end because of a something written thousands of years ago? Pffft, that has got to be aload of baloohaa!

Well, the start of a new year, I suppose, means resolutions but to be honest, I am not very good at keeping them, last year it was to lose weight and apply myself to my studies (one of thoughs happened and it wasn't the studying one). The year before that I think it was to cut back on chocolate (that didn't happen) and this year, I decided to cut back my usage of sarcasm but to be fair, I have already failed that as my usage of sarcasm for today has exceeded the amount I used it last year.

I think a more realistic resolution would be to bring you a box blog weekly (like I said I would in that one box blog a long time ago) and keep up with my studies!

Uhm...See even after two, three weeks of not writing this I am still lost on what to talk to you guys about, so I am just going to leave you a couple of songs that just make me laugh!

Two weeks! IM SORRY!

So, hey folks. I know it's been a while and I'm sorry about that, I have been seriously ill and just had a lot of coursework so for the past two weeks, it had become my main priority.

 As you all know these past few months have not been what I would have liked them to be, so I became rather secluded and anything that wasn't to do with coursework, friends or family were put on halt until I got myself back onto my feet.

But have no fear for I AM BACK and I know how much you folks love my rambling on's about nothing! 

On the bright side and a more happier note, I have some lovely photos to show you.

This Box Blog will only be a quick one, but tomorrow, I hope to bring a lovely addition from my time up Builth wells.

Tomorrow, is the Winter Fair, basically it hold live stocks, competitions, food, wine! Everything a girl could ask for and Builth Wells has to be one of my favourite places in Wales, such a lovely place. So for the first picture I am going to show you my favourite picture from last years fair. 

I just find this picture so serene and so beautiful. It was taking out the window of a mini bus so obviously it won't be an excellent standard. I just love the raw beauty of it.

We were coming back from the fair and it had snowed recently. The whole town just had this old fashioned Gothic beauty to it that I don't think anybody denied. 

I promised you guys a long time ago that I would put up some pictures of my animals. Well I shall with you some of my favourites!

Let me just introduce you to Kia. She isn't smart, She isn't beautiful, she is loud and jumps around like a fool when you play with her. She is a lovely dog, she would much rather sit on the chair dining chair (Brought into the living room for her) then actually go for a walk..

She is allergic to the sun, has big teeth 

She doesn't bark but actually makes this rather strange yowl/yap noise.

We've all met Stevie, she is a wonderful kitten...Unless you wake her! 

My cats have this weird thing about sleeping in plant pots and I am really not sure why.

Just for clarification, the plant she is sleeping on is called Audrey! 

Intact, I shall leave you with thoughs three lovely pictures. I mean what is better then a serene beautiful back drop, A beautiful elegant Kia Maria and Stevie...Who never fails to entertain me with her evil, evil looks, Just look at that, even her glare could kill you!

A Big Thank You!

Well guys and gals, it is that time of the week, yes, you guessed it! IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER BOX BLOG! This weeks blog is brought to you in the colour Blue!


Well as it states up top, I want to say a couple of thank yous! This first thank you goes to this person who has been my best friend for about two years! He has always been the one who picked me up despite what ever life threw at me and always returned me safely to my feet. Just recently I have been through a lot and these past two months have been two of the most difficult I have ever experienced. They have been chaotic, hectic, been full of loss and full of hurt but despite having a bad couple of months he has always been that person I could turn to in times of crisis! This person has never not made me smile, if it isn't his sick sense of humour, it's his habit for singing the most peculiar show tunes I have ever laid witness to hearing. He has never judged me for anything I've done and often drives me on in the right direction! So here is a big thanks to Geraint, you have always been there for me and you've never judged me or criticised me you just helped me back up onto my feet when I've needed it, you also pushed me forward into doing a blog. Thank you for that, thank you for everything, you are my best friend, you've always been there for me, through the good times and the bad. You have been through just as much difficulty as I and I hope that you trust me enough to allow me to help you when you need me and open up to me when you deem fit. You never wanted me to be anything but myself and never forced me to open up about anything and you have always been so understanding! So thank you for everything! Without you I'd be a nervous wreck!  <3


Ooooh Petey! Haven't we had some laughs. we've argued about everything! You never cease to put a grin on my face and whether you are being particularly rude and obscene or being subtle and nice you're always there! It always makes me laugh how you can rant about everything, legitimizing it and then come out with some sexual innuendo afterwards. You have put up with hell being friends with me but you also get a thank you! It makes me laugh, you and I have barely anything in common and yet all thoughs many years ago it was our love of Anime and Gackt which made us great friends! So thank you, because thoughs laughs, thoughs dodgy porn sites, the yoai and yuri,  and our fantastic taste in music is what makes you an awesome friend! <3 (not to mention our little stalkering period over Gackt!)


Annnnnd Lewis! I'd say something about you but you don't get anything until you buy me that drink you owe from my birthday.


This week has been an interesting one, I believe this is my third update, blog type thingy this week and I am enjoying doing these. I wanted to say thanks to these guys because its been an awful two months and truly without the laughs, the smiles and the helping back onto my feet, the next month probably would've sucked to so now all I have to say is! 


COME AT ME BRO and my new favourite meme YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT! Take your pick! Both will make me laugh!
I will no longer allow anyone to walk all over me, the decisions I make will benefit myself rather then everybody else! I feel that if I am ever going be a stronger, more secure person I need to become more confident with myself and consider my feelings more then what I was. 


Anywaaays, in anticipation for Monday, I am going to share with you a song from my all time favourite movie
ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. Myself and Geraint are both going to see it on Monday, Geraint has never sat through it properly so I am excited to see his face! So here it is, here is my favourite song from my favourite movie

You have no idea how much this song makes me smile! I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!! I defy anybody that it is not the most catchiest, disturbing brain washing song you have ever heard, I'll tell you why nobody defies it BECAUSE IT'S TRUE! 


This song defines the movie and if you haven't seen it I suggest you get your butt down to Cineworld on Monday or buy/rent the DVD and you watch thoughs 100 minutes of madness, humour, brainwashing, disturbing, amazing film you will ever lay your eyes on!
